Special Award SUSTENIUM “ENERGY AND HEART”
South Tyrolean mountain lover, indeed, with a visceral connection to the mountain and to the speed.
Born in Merano but originally from Ultimo, a small village in South Tyrol, in force at the Carabinieri Sports Centre, he is a specialist in fast races and made his debut in the European Cup in February 2007, winning the first positions and the first victory on the continental circuit.
He doesn't know what fear is and that's why he won: the thrill and the challenges are his companions.
With 18 victories to his credit in the World Cup, he is the third most successful Italian skier ever behind Alberto Tomba and Gustav Thöni…
He won the downhill three times on the most beautiful and challenging slope of the white circus: the Streif in Kitzbühel. He also won for five times on the Stelvio track by winning the 2019 World Cup in the supergiant.
He won two second places in Lake Louise, but an injury closed the season.
Dominik… the white circus is waiting for you to give us beautiful emotions and important victories.
